I am a Canadian painter deeply inspired by the natural world and the sense of peace I find within it. As an avid kayaker, hiker, and cross country skier, I spend as much time as I can, exploring the landscapes that later become the subjects of my work.

I began my creative journey as a graphic designer, and had the good fortune to be mentored by a Danish artist who introduced me to the world of painting. After a decade in the fast-paced advertising industry, I returned to the countryside to raise my family and run a home-based design business. When the children were off to school, it sparked a time of personal reinvention. I returned to school myself and now work as a counsellor, supporting families caring for people living with dementia. In contrast to the emotional demands of that work, painting offers a place of calm, reflection, and renewal.

The powerful landscapes of Newfoundland hold special meaning for me. My family has deep roots on the island, and that connection led to the purchase of our home in Twillingate. I am drawn to the wild terrain, and the enduring beauty of the timeworn fishing stages and charming houses preserved through the generations. The stories they hold of resilience, tradition, and a way of life connected to the sea speaks to my heart. I seek to not only portray these scenes, but to share the feeling of being there.

After filling in your address, shipping options will be available as well as local pickup at our printing partner, Newfoundland Canvas at 56 Aberdeen Ave, St. John's, Newfoundland.

Orders are processed and handcrafted in 5-10 business days. Once the order is complete you will receive the shipping tracking information or notification for pickup by email.
